Today, I want to discuss something important in the Bible: the Destruction Of The Earth By Fire.

The Bible says that one day this earth will be burned by fire. You may be a little shocked to hear this. But you know, it is not just about destruction. There is also a beautiful message of hope hidden in it.

God actually wants to remove everything old and create a new one. Just like we tear down an old house and build a new one.

Have you ever seen the power of fire? Just as fire burns, it also cleanses. God’s fire is the same – it destroys bad things, purifies good things, and makes way for new things to be created.

Imagine, you have a lot of old things accumulated in your house. You throw them away and clean the house. Even though it is a little difficult, how clean your house becomes in the end. God also wants to remove all the bad things from this world and create a new, beautiful world.

In the Old Testament, we see how God used fire to judge injustice. Remember the story of Sodom and Gomorrah? There, fire fell from heaven and destroyed the wicked cities.

This may sound like a harsh statement from God. But it actually shows how seriously God views sin. He wants us to live well. But even then, he showed mercy—saving Lot and his family.

We can learn from this that God is just, but he is also merciful. Just as a good parent disciplines a child, but for the good of the child.

In the New Testament, we see that on the Day of Judgment, the whole world will be engulfed in fire. This is not something to be afraid of. Rather, it reminds us that God wants us to be prepared for that day.

Imagine that you are going to meet a great leader. Would you wear dirty clothes? No, you would wear your best clothes. Similarly, we should live our lives in such a way that we are ready for the day when we will stand before God at the Last Judgment.

Friends, we should examine our own lives with these thoughts in mind. Are we ready for the day when everything will be revealed before God? Is our life built on a foundation that will withstand the test of fire? It is not about living in fear, but about living with purpose. It is about trusting in God’s grace and trying to walk according to His will.

Friends, remember one thing – the fire of judgment has already been endured on the cross for those who believe in Jesus. We are not waiting for destruction, but for the new heaven and new earth that God has promised to give us.

So let us encourage one another with these truths, and live our lives every day with that day in mind. Let us try to do good every day, help others, and show God’s love. In this way, we can prepare ourselves for that great day.
