Today we will talk about a very difficult topic – leaving a loved one. It’s really hard, I know, I’ve been through this too.
Look, when we are forced to let go of someone, it feels like the heart is breaking. But you know, God is on our side. He says he lives close to a broken heart. Isn’t that great? When we suffer the most, He is closest to us.
I know, sometimes it seems that our plans for life have collapsed. But friends, God’s plan is much bigger than ours. Remember the story where Joseph was sold by his brothers? It looked like it was over, but in the end God made him the Prime Minister of Egypt. So I say, trust God.
I know, this is a very difficult time. But remember, you are not alone. Christ will give you strength. Remember that? “I can do everything through the One who gives me strength.” It’s not just talk, it’s true. When you think you can’t, remind yourself that God is with you.
God wants to give you a great peace. A peace that is beyond all reason. When you can’t sleep at night, when the mind is restless, think of this peace. It will protect your heart and mind.
Finally, be patient, friends. God’s time does not always coincide with our time. But his time is perfect. Those who wait for God, receive new energy. So wait, trust me.
Remember, you are not alone. We are all with you. And above all, God is with you. He loves you, and will never leave you.
